Send HighLevel (GoHighLevel) opt-ins and orders to RAVE™

Add a Webhook action to a HighLevel workflow so form submissions and orders show up in your RAVE™ cards.

In HighLevel, a workflow with a Webhook action sends each new opt-in or order to your RAVE™ campaign.

Build the workflow

  1. Create a workflow

    In HighLevel, go to Automation → Workflows → Create workflow.

  2. Pick a trigger

    Use Form Submitted for opt-ins, Order Submitted for purchases, or Contact Tag if you tag contacts.

  3. Add a Webhook action

    Add the Webhook action and set the method to POST.

  4. Paste your RAVE™ URL

    Use your campaign's webhook URL with labels, for example https://rave.cxformula.com/api/ingest/YOUR_CAMPAIGN_KEY?source=ghl&event=signup. Use event=purchase for orders.

  5. Add custom data

    Map the contact fields listed below.

  6. Publish

    Publish the workflow and submit a test opt-in.

Custom data to send

KeyValue
first_name{{contact.first_name}}
last_name{{contact.last_name}}
email{{contact.email}}
city{{contact.city}}
state{{contact.state}}

RAVE™ never shows the full last name, only an initial ("Sarah K."), and the email is stored only as a hash.

Several signals, one funnel

Create one workflow (or one Webhook action) per signal, each with its own labels:

  • Opt-in: ?source=ghl&event=signup
  • Order: ?source=ghl&event=purchase&product=Ultimate%20Pack&step=main
  • Upsell: ?source=ghl&event=upsell&product=VIP&step=upsell-1

Test it

  1. Submit the form on your live funnel with your own details.
  2. In HighLevel, confirm the workflow is published and your test contact entered it.
  3. In RAVE™, check the campaign's Analytics or the site's Events, last 7 days.
  4. Open your funnel page: the new person appears in your cards within about a minute.

Troubleshooting

  • The workflow ran but nothing shows. Make sure the custom data includes first_name or email; RAVE™ skips events with neither.
  • Names show oddly. Check the merge fields are spelled exactly as above. RAVE™ ignores unfilled merge tags.
  • Orders show as "just joined". Add event=purchase to that webhook's URL.
  • Agencies. Use the webhook URL from the client's own RAVE™ workspace so their events land in their campaigns.
