Found something broken, or have an idea that would make RAVE™ better? Tell us from inside the app. Every report goes straight to the RAVE™ team, and you can follow what happens to it.
Where to send feedback
There are three ways in:
- The Feedback tab on the right edge of every page in the dashboard. It opens a panel titled "Report a bug or idea" without leaving the page you're on.
- The Feedback page at /feedback, linked from the bottom of the sidebar next to Help & docs. It has the same form on the left and Your reports on the right.
- "Still stuck?" in Help Center search. After you search, click Send this question to support. The feedback panel opens with your question filled in and the type set to General.
Search the Help Center first
The Help Center has one search box: Ask a question or search…. It's at the top of the Help Center and on every help page.
- As you type, matching articles appear right under the box. Use the arrow keys and Enter, or click, to open one.
- Press Enter, or type a question and pause, to see the full results. When the articles answer your question, an AI answer appears at the top with numbered links to the articles it used. The matching articles are listed below it.
- No good answer? You'll see the matching articles and a Send this question to support button.
Search matches related words too, so "alerts not showing" also finds articles about the popup or card not appearing. AI answers use only the Help Center articles and can be wrong, so check the linked sources.
Send a report
Pick a type
Bug (something isn't working; this is the default), Feature (something you'd like RAVE™ to do) or General (anything else).
Write a short title
3 to 200 characters, for example "Campaign preview is blank on Safari".
Add details (optional)
For a bug: the steps to reproduce it and what you expected to happen. For a feature: what it should do and why it matters to you. Up to 4,000 characters.
Attach a screenshot (optional)
Click Clip screen to capture your screen and drag to crop just the part that matters, or upload, paste or drop an image (up to 10 MB).
Send
You'll see a confirmation, and the report appears under Your reports.
What RAVE™ attaches automatically
So you don't have to describe your setup, each report includes:
- The page you were on, and your current account and workspace
- Your name and user ID (so we can reply), your browser, operating system and window size
- The version of RAVE™ you were using
- The last few errors from the browser console and any requests that failed on that page
Before anything is stored, RAVE™ removes email addresses, keys, tokens and passwords from the console errors and request addresses. Screenshots are stored privately: only you and the RAVE™ team can open them.
Follow your report
Every report shows a status under Your reports on the Feedback page:
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Received | We have your report and haven't looked at it yet. |
| In review | We're looking into it or working on it. |
| Resolved | It's fixed or built. |
| Closed | We've decided not to change this, usually with a reply explaining why. |
| Duplicate | Someone already reported the same thing; we're tracking it there. |
You get a notification in the bell at the top of the page, and an email, when your report moves to In review (work has started), Resolved or Closed, and whenever the RAVE™ team adds a reply. The link in each notification opens your report on the Feedback page.
Tips for a great bug report
- One problem per report, so each one can be tracked and resolved on its own.
- Say what you expected to happen and what happened instead.
- If it only happens in one campaign or site, name it in the description.
- A cropped screenshot of the problem is worth a paragraph of text.
Other ways to reach us
Prefer email? Write to the support address shown in the footer of every page. For urgent billing or account problems, email is still the fastest way to reach a person. See also What's new for recent changes.
