A site in RAVE™ is a domain where your pages live, such as challenge.example.com. Each site has its own pixel snippet and holds the campaigns that show RAVE™ cards on it.
Add a site
Open your workspace
Pick it from the switcher at the top of the sidebar.
Go to Sites
Click Sites in the sidebar. The workspace Dashboard has the same list.
Enter a name and domain
Type a name you'll recognize (for example "Spring Challenge") and the domain, such as challenge.example.com.
Click Add site
RAVE™ opens the new site's page with its pixel snippet.
You can paste a full address: RAVE™ keeps only the domain, so https://challenge.example.com/optin is saved as challenge.example.com.
Your site key
Every site gets a site key, a random code that tells the pixel which site it is on. It is the data-site value in the snippet shown under 1. Install the pixel on the site's page:
<script async src="https://rave.cxformula.com/pixel.js" data-site="YOUR_SITE_KEY"></script>
Always copy the snippet from the site's page so the key is right. The site key is safe to have in your page source; it only lets the pixel load cards and send page activity for that site.
What's on the site page
- Events, last 7 days and Cards shown, last 7 days, a quick check that data is flowing.
- 1. Install the pixel, with a copy button for the snippet.
- 2. Campaigns, the campaigns on this site with their status (Live or Paused) and buttons for Settings, Analytics, Pause or Resume, and Duplicate. Type a name and click Add campaign to create one. A campaign groups RAVE™ cards, their data source and where they show.
- Analytics for the whole site, at the top right.
- Site settings, to rename the site, change its domain, or delete it.
One site or several?
Add one site per domain. If your opt-in page, order form and upsells are all on one domain, that's one site; use campaigns and their page rules to decide which cards show where. If your funnel spans two domains, add both as sites.
Next steps
- Install the pixel on every page of the site.
- Send events with webhooks so your cards have real activity to show.
