Install the RAVE™ pixel
Paste one line of code into the header of your pages so RAVE™ can show cards and measure results, then check that it works.

The RAVE™ pixel is one small script tag. It shows your RAVE™ cards on the page and records the page activity RAVE™ uses for analytics and A/B lift. It loads in the background (async), uses no web fonts and doesn't slow your page down.
Get your snippet
Each site has its own snippet. Open your workspace, click Sites, open the site, and copy the snippet under 1. Install the pixel. It looks like this:
<script async src="https://rave.cxformula.com/pixel.js" data-site="YOUR_SITE_KEY"></script>
YOUR_SITE_KEY is your site's key. Copy the real snippet from the dashboard rather than typing it. See Add a site if you don't have a site yet.
Where to paste it
Paste the snippet into the head (header tracking code) of every page where cards should show or where you want to measure conversions, including thank-you pages. Most page builders have one site-wide or funnel-wide setting for this, so you only paste it once.
Step-by-step guides for each platform:
Check that it works
Make sure a campaign is live
On the site's page, under 2. Campaigns, a campaign should show the Live badge. If there are none, type a name and click Add campaign.
Send a test event
Open the campaign, pick an event type next to Send test event and click it. RAVE™ adds a sample person.
Visit your page
Open your published page in a new browser window. The test card appears within about a minute.
Check the counters
Back on the site's page, Cards shown, last 7 days goes up as cards are shown. The account's Overview also shows Pixel last seen.
Clean up
On the campaign page, click Delete test events. Test events disappear on their own after an hour anyway and never count in analytics.
Troubleshooting
No card shows up.
- Check that the campaign is Live, not Paused, and has at least one card turned on.
- Open the campaign's Pages tab. Cards only show on pages matching the Show on rules (empty means everywhere) and never on pages matching Hide on.
- Look at the campaign's Timing tab: Initial delay (seconds) makes the first card wait after the page loads, and Max per visit stops cards after that many in one browser session.
- On the Cards tab, a card with a Minimum count stays hidden until enough recent people have taken action.
- If your trial has ended or you're over your plan's visitor limit, cards are paused until you choose a plan. Your data is kept.
- Testing on a phone? On the Design tab, make sure Show on mobile is checked.
The snippet is on the page but nothing is recorded.
- Make sure you published the page. Many builders only add header code to the published version, not the editor preview.
- Clear any caching or optimization plugin so the new header code is served.
- Confirm the
data-sitevalue matches the snippet on the site's page in RAVE™.
Cards show on the wrong pages. Adjust the campaign's Pages tab. Add checkout and thank-you pages to Hide on if you don't want cards there.
