The setup guide and your first visit
The four-step setup guide on every workspace home, how each step checks itself off, hiding and showing it, and the welcome panel new teammates see.

Every workspace home starts with a setup guide: four steps to your first live RAVE™ card. Each step checks itself off from what's really happening in the workspace, so there's nothing to tick by hand.
The four steps
| Step | Why it matters | Checks off when |
|---|---|---|
| Add a site | The domain where your funnel lives. Each site gets its own pixel. | The workspace has at least one site |
| Install the pixel | One line in your page header lets RAVE™ show cards and measure results. | The pixel has reported a page view from any of the workspace's sites |
| Connect a source | Opt-ins and purchases from your tools become the people your cards show. | The first real event arrives (test events don't count) |
| Launch your first campaign | Pick a card, choose the pages it shows on and turn it on. | At least one campaign is live |
Each step has a button that takes you to the right screen and a How to link to the matching article:
- Add a site
- Install the pixel
- How webhooks work, or the tag recipes for ActiveCampaign and HighLevel (GoHighLevel)
- Campaign settings
The bar at the top shows your progress, for example 2 of 4 done. Progress belongs to the workspace, so everyone on the team sees the same steps checked.
Hide or show the guide
- When all four steps are done, the guide hides itself. A small Show setup guide link brings it back.
- Done with it early? Click Hide guide. This hides it only for you; teammates still see it. Click Show setup guide to bring it back any time.
If a button says "Ask an admin"
If your seat is read-only (the plan's seats are full), you still see the steps, but the buttons say Ask an admin and take you to the workspace's team page so you can see who can help. See Team and roles.
The welcome panel
The first time you open a workspace, a short welcome panel shows your role and what you can do there. It has two buttons:
- Start setup scrolls to the setup guide.
- Take me to Help opens Getting started in the Help Center.
After you click either one, or close the panel, it doesn't come back for that workspace. RAVE™ remembers this on your account, not in your browser, so it stays dismissed on every device.
