Agency mode

Run RAVE™ for clients with client workspaces under one account, staff assignments, client logins, white label and the client health overview.

Agency mode lets one account run RAVE™ for many clients. Each client gets its own client workspace with its own sites, campaigns and analytics, while your team, billing and branding stay in one place at the account level.

Agency mode is part of the Agency plan. On other plans, the account works as a normal single-business account.

How it fits together

Agency account (your team, billing, white label)
  |
  +-- Client workspace: Acme Fitness
  | sites, campaigns, client users
  |
  +-- Client workspace: Bright Dental
  | sites, campaigns, client users
  |
  +-- ...
  • One plan, one bill. Client workspaces share the agency plan, including its monthly visitor allowance. Billing covers every client workspace.
  • Your staff are on the account team and can open all clients or only the clients you assign.
  • Client users are your clients' own logins. They see only their workspace.

Add a client

  1. Open the account overview

Click Overview at the top of the account sidebar.

  2. Find "+ Add client"

It's below the client list (owners and admins only).

  3. Name the client

Type the client name and click Add client.

The form shows how many client workspaces you've used, for example "3 of 10 client workspaces used", or "Unlimited client workspaces on this plan". If an account has more client workspaces than its plan allows, the extra ones are paused (cards don't show), never deleted, until you upgrade.

Client health at a glance

The agency overview lists every client with a health badge, so you can see who needs help before they ask:

BadgeMeaning
HealthyNothing needs attention
WatchSomething to check soon
At riskCards may not be working for this client

Each badge lists its reasons, such as "Over visitor cap: pop-ups paused", "Over visitor cap (in 10% grace)", "Pixel not seen in 7 days", "No site added yet" or "No live campaigns". Click Needs attention to show only clients that aren't healthy.

The top of the page also shows the account's unique visitors this month, client workspaces used, total sites and live campaigns, and when the pixel was last seen.

Assign staff to clients

On the account Team page, invite staff as Member or Admin. For members, choose All clients or Only selected clients and tick the clients they can open. You can change this anytime from the Clients option next to their name. Admins and the owner always see every client. See Team and roles.

Give clients their own login

Client users are invited from inside the client's workspace, not from the account team:

  1. Open the client workspace

Pick it from the switcher at the top of the sidebar.

  2. Go to Team

    Under Workspace in the sidebar.

  3. Invite them

Choose Workspace user (sites, campaigns and analytics) or Workspace admin (also users and settings), then send the invite.

Client users never see other clients, your account team or agency billing. Client users count toward your plan's seats.

White label

With white label, your clients see your brand instead of RAVE™'s. Set it up in the account sidebar under Settings:

  • Logo: PNG, JPG or WebP, up to 1 MB. It appears in the switcher and, for your clients, in place of the RAVE™ logo.
  • White label section:
    • "Verified by" name: cards on your clients' sites say "Verified by Acme Marketing" with a check mark, instead of the "Verified by RAVE™" mark.
    • Primary color and Accent color: hex values such as #34287F.

Reuse campaigns across clients

Account owners and admins see Reuse this campaign on any campaign page:

  • Save as template keeps the settings and cards (never events) and makes them available in every workspace of the account. Manage templates under account Settings.
  • Copy to selected copies settings to other client workspaces. Copies start paused, on each workspace's first site.
