Plans, trials and billing
How the free trial works, what happens when it ends, monthly visitor limits and the 10% grace, and how to upgrade or manage invoices.

Billing in RAVE™ belongs to the account, not to each workspace. One plan covers the whole account, and for agencies that includes every client workspace. Only the account owner and account admins can change the plan.
The free trial
Every new account starts on a free trial with Pro-level features, so you can try the AI coach, A/B lift testing and verified proof import before you choose a plan.
- Length and card requirement are set by RAVE™ and shown when you sign up. The default is a 14-day trial with no card needed. Changes to these settings apply to new trials only.
- If a card is required, the trial starts when you add your card at checkout, and cards stay off until then. Your subscription then starts automatically when the trial ends, unless you cancel.
- AI requests: the trial includes 20 RAVE™ AI requests for the whole trial, not per month. See RAVE™ AI coach.
RAVE™ reminds you as the end approaches: with 4 days left, with 1 day left, and once when the trial ends. Reminders arrive by email when email is enabled, and always as a banner in the app.
When a trial ends
If you haven't chosen a plan by the end of a no-card trial:
- RAVE™ cards pause on your sites. Your pages are not affected: the pixel stays installed and nothing breaks.
- Nothing is deleted. Your campaigns, settings and every event are kept, and webhooks keep recording.
- Choose any plan and cards come back right away.
Visitor limits and the 10% grace
Most plans include a number of unique visitors per month across all the account's sites. RAVE™ recounts usage daily.
0% ---------------- 100% ---------- 110% | cards show | over limit: | paused until next | | 10% grace, | month or an upgrade | | cards show |
- Up to your limit: everything runs normally.
- Over the limit: cards keep showing for a 10% grace. The Billing page shows "Over limit" and owners get an email.
- Past 110%: cards pause until the next month or until you upgrade. Owners get an email. Tracking continues, and your pages are not affected.
For agencies, client workspaces share the agency plan's visitor allowance.
Plans and their limits
Unlimited campaigns and cards on every plan. Unlimited sites from Growth up. Starter includes 1 site. Current plans, prices and visitor limits are on the pricing page.
Plans can also limit seats (team members), client workspaces and AI requests. If an account goes over a limit, for example after moving to a smaller plan, RAVE™ never deletes anything: extra sites and client workspaces are paused (not shown on your funnels) and extra seats become read-only. Everything comes back when you upgrade.
The Billing page
Open Billing in the account sidebar (under Manage). Account owners and admins can also reach it from Billing in a workspace's sidebar. The page shows:
- Plan: your current plan and its status.
- Unique visitors this month: usage against your limit, with a progress bar.
- Status: Active, Over limit or Paused, plus trial days left during a trial.
Below that is the plan list, with monthly and, where offered, annual prices. Some plans show Contact sales instead of a price.
Upgrade or change your plan
Online checkout isn't switched on yet. Until it is, the Billing page says Online billing is coming soon: your trial keeps running, and you can contact support to change plans.
When online billing is on, you change plans from Billing in the account sidebar: pick a plan (Choose monthly, or Annual where offered), pay on Stripe's secure checkout page, and you return to Billing. Moving to a smaller plan never deletes anything (see Plans and their limits).
Invoices, cards and canceling
After you subscribe online, Billing shows Manage billing, invoices and cards, which opens Stripe's billing portal to view invoices, update your payment card, or cancel.
Troubleshooting
- I can't see Billing: only the account owner and account admins can manage billing. Client users never see agency billing.
- Cards stopped showing: check Status on Billing. "Paused" means the trial ended or the account passed 110% of its visitor limit.
- The page says online billing is coming soon: online checkout isn't available yet. Contact support to change plans.
